Estimates and quotes
We provide a written estimate before your move. Local estimates may be hourly or a flat band based on home size; long-distance estimates are a binding flat-rate quote. A binding quote will not change as long as the inventory, services, and access you described stay the same. If the job changes on move day — significantly more items, added stops, or access you didn’t tell us about — the price may be adjusted, and we’ll discuss it with you before proceeding.
Deposit and cancellation
A $149 deposit reserves your date and is applied to your final total. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as you can and we’ll do our best to accommodate you; deposit handling for late cancellations is explained when you book. Final payment is due upon completion of the move unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
Liability and valuation
Your move includes released-value protection at the standard $0.60 per pound per article at no additional charge. You may purchase full-value protection for coverage at replacement value. We carry up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment. Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within the timeframe required by applicable regulations.
Storage
Goods stored in our Stock Island warehouse are subject to monthly storage charges (from $79/month per vault), billed in advance. Stored items remain subject to the valuation coverage in effect. We must receive payment current before stored goods are released, and we ask for reasonable notice before a delivery-out or pickup.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and our moving and storage services are provided under our US DOT/MC authority and Florida intrastate mover registration (FDACS). Questions? Call (888) 711-4778 or email [email protected].
