“I have used Coast to Coast Moving & Storage on three separate occasions now and each time they came early, were very careful and very fast. We used them last week to move from Stock Island to Marathon and they did the entire move in 5 hours in the pouring rain. They never complained and were extremely respectful and quick. I wholeheartedly recommend them!”
Down here, packing isn’t only about preventing breakage in transit. It’s also about keeping the damp and salt off your things while they’re boxed. We use double-wall boxes for the heavy stuff, plenty of paper and bubble for glass and ceramics, and dish-pack cartons for the kitchen. Mirrors, framed art, and TVs go in mirror cartons or get custom-crated rather than wrapped in a blanket and hoped for.
Salt-air handling means we’re careful with anything that corrodes: tools, electronics, instruments, and metal furniture get wrapped before they’re boxed, not after. If your move includes a stop in our climate-controlled warehouse, that careful packing is what keeps everything in the same shape it left in. Our packers also label every carton by room as they go, so unloading at the new place isn’t a treasure hunt through twenty identical boxes.
What packing runs
Full-pack pricing covers both the materials and the labor to box your home; partial-pack is scoped to the rooms you choose. Specialty crating is quoted separately.
| Service | From |
|---|---|
| Full-pack (materials + labor) | $480 |
| Partial-pack (kitchen, fragiles, art) | Scoped to your rooms |
| Specialty crating (piano, safe, large art) | $399 |
Pair packing with your move and it goes on one written plan: same crew, one number, no juggling a separate vendor the week before you leave.
How a pack day works
We bring the materials with us, so you’re not stuck sourcing boxes or running out of tape mid-kitchen. The crew works room by room in an order that keeps the house livable until the last day, and we’ll point out anything that needs crating rather than a carton.
- Double-wall and dish-pack cartons for heavy and fragile loads
- Mirror cartons for art, framed pieces, and flat-screens
- Pre-wrap for metal, electronics, and finished wood against salt air
- Clear, room-by-room labeling so the unpack goes fast
What we won’t pack
A few things stay with you. We don’t box hazardous or flammable items — propane, paint, pool chemicals, ammunition, or anything that shouldn’t ride a closed truck through the Keys heat. We also leave cash, jewelry, medications, and irreplaceable documents for you to carry personally. If you’d rather we skip a room you want to handle yourself, partial-pack lets you draw exactly that line.
