Most Big Pine homes are built up on pilings to clear storm surge, which means real flights of exterior stairs and tight under-house parking. Our crews bring extra ramps and dollies and we walk the access with you first, so a wide piece of furniture has a route down before anyone is holding it on a landing.
The island runs slow and the Key deer wander the roads near the refuge, so we drive the side streets off Big Pine Avenue and Avenue A at an easy pace and stage on the firmer ground rather than soft shoulders. If you are leaving the Keys or coming in from the mainland, the load rides the single-road US-1 haul on our own dedicated truck — no transfers, no broker handing it off.
This far down the chain there are no basements, plenty of salt air, and a long hurricane season. We seal anything that rusts and keep climate-controlled, hurricane-rated storage in Stock Island for the gaps between a sale and a closing.

- Climate-controlled storage from $79/month per vault, hurricane-rated
- Long-distance starting at $2,650, our own dedicated truck on the US-1 run
A $149 deposit holds your date and applies to the final bill — and the written estimate is locked before we touch a box.
