  • 0 Watch OUT for BOGUS Movers...

    • by Morgan Kidd
    • 05/22/2017

I'm concerned for people looking for movers and how they choose them. I've been getting so many calls recently from people looking for their Sales Rep and asking if they can get their deposit back or find out why the truck hasn't come after they have paid a deposit. STOP PAYING DEPOSITS! Any reputable mover or van line will not ask for a deposit in advance for your long distance move. I'm getting these calls because Coast to Coast Moving & Storage Inc. is similar to another company that is just a broker and takes deposits. I just spoke with an elderly couple that gave $800 deposit for their move and may not get it back. Now they have to search out another mover at the end of a busy month, in peak moving season, when most movers are already booked. They thought they were locked in and all set to move to their new home; that is not the case. They said they searched on line and clicked one of the 1st links to get a quote. Plus they got a quote for their move that was a 3rd of what my van line quotes. The saying "It's Too Good To Be True" applies and when it comes to getting quotes PLEASE get several from actual movers that offer to come out for an in-home estimate. Watch out for the quick click companies that you fill in random things to generate an instant quote. See if the company you are talking to is associated with a Van Line. Look up their actual website to see their affiliations and make sure they are licensed and Bonded. Good Luck and take caution when researching who to choose; "Entrust Your Life's Memories" with Coast to Coast Moving & Storage Inc. Thank You as always for your consideration and I hope to talk to you soon! 813-621-1003 or contact@ctcms.com

Howdy Folks! Moving season is here; it arrived a couple weeks ago and has kept us all on our toes and hopefully will continue to do so. I'm excited about the new projects we have coming up with the Hotels that are choosing to use our warehouse for storage; then we deliver out when their remodel is done. We have in/out bound Military moves that are springing up left and right because it's that time of year when members are joining, transferring our retiring. We are proud to service the Military Members throughout any transition. Along with the Hospitality and Military we are working on international moves to Costa Rica & Hawaii, how exciting is that. If you decide you want to move overseas let us know, we can accommodate your move anywhere. I can't say enough either about our local community moves and the great people we work with. As well as the customers who are broadening their horizons and moving North, East, West, South, and from one Coast to the other. No matter where you go let Coast to Coast Moving & Storage Inc. be your chosen mover. We enjoy any and all feedback, your reviews on "how we do" are crucial to improve our services. Thanks in advance and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Morgan Kidd...Sales & Marketing Manger...813-621-1003 x1007

  • 0 2016 Outstanding Sales Award from Wheaton World Wide

    • 03/23/2017

Yaaay, we got an award for Outstand Sales in 2016! I’m proud of this award and the many others we received for CTCMS & La Habra! George Burd attended the 2017 Regional, Wheaton World Wide meetings in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago and he came home with awards for all of our locations. Excellence in hauling, sales and a Quality award too. It’s great to be recognized for the hard work put in by our CTCMS/La Habra teams and crews. It’s motivation to improve and strive for higher goals this coming year. Well challenge accepted and I’m looking forward to having another successful year.

  • 0 2017 St. Patrick's Night Parade

    • by Morgan Kidd
    • 03/21/2017

I've been aware of the spectator side of parades since my parents took me as a child. The candy, little trinkets and whatnots thrown out from the floats; the music, laughter and camaraderie amongst the parade goers that makes you feel good seeing the bands, fire trucks and colorful floats. Well I now have backstage knowledge of being in a Parade. It all starts with the preparation of figuring out where to begin. Then choosing the right objects to be thrown to spectators, design of your float and then making sure it all happens by “Go time”. Making lists to make sure decorations are bought and people are lined up to volunteer and making sure your application is completed and sent in. Counting down the days and the excitement builds along with worry. Will everything fall into place, will all the planning and effort be worth it in the end. It so was worth it! The 2017 St. Patrick’s Night Parade in Ybor City, a local community within Tampa was a BLAST! It was an event Sponsored by the 1st US Volunteer Calvary Regiment Rough Riders, Inc. They were a great club to work with and I look forward to working with them again in future events. Thank you to everyone who showed up to participate and patiently waiting while the Parade kicked off. Thank you for helping throw out the beads, cozies, t-shirts and CTCMS bling to the jubilant crowd. Thank you to the crew who decorated our truck and climbed the ladders to the top! Thank you to the team in our office that helped with all the little things that made a HUGE difference! I can’t wait for next year and the ideas have already started to form! Top ‘O the Evening to Ya, Morgan the Grateful!
